The Social Connection is a vibrant, community-based program supporting neurodivergent individuals through structured, goal-oriented experiences and meaningful engagement. With multiple tracks designed to foster growth across employment, life skills, leadership, and social development, members build confidence, expand independence, and thrive in a supportive environment rooted in high expectations and measurable growth.
The Social Connection Pleasant Hill location is officially open!
This new space allows us to serve more members in our community and expand our inclusive, community-focused programming. With this additional location, we’re building new partnerships and creating even more meaningful connections for our members. It gives our members the opportunity to strengthen relationships and continue engaging in creative arts, leadership development, and vibrant social experiences in a warm, welcoming environment.

2026 Tahoe Trip
Our 2026 Tahoe trip was unforgettable! Members learned to ski and snowboard, challenged themselves on the slopes, and embraced the magic of the snow. From first runs to shared laughter, the trip was filled with confidence-building, community, and winter fun. We’re so proud of everyone for trying something new and supporting one another.
2025 Impact Awards
In 2025, The Social Connection celebrated a year of growth, courage, and meaningful achievement. Members completed college semesters, reached internship milestones, strengthened independent living skills, and showed up consistently for themselves and one another. We gathered to honor progress — big and small — and celebrate the journey together.

A mobile food truck where neurodivergent adults shine.
Sweet Spectrum Co. is more than a food truck — it’s a rolling classroom where neurodivergent adults gain job skills, earn income, and build confidence. In a world where nearly 85% remain unemployed, we’re creating real pathways to opportunity.
We’re raising $25,000 to fully launch the truck, covering equipment, permits, and start-up costs. Once on the road, Sweet Spectrum will serve schools and community events — bringing both treats and training wherever it goes.
