HOW IT WORKS

Clear Steps. Intentional Support. Meaningful Progress.

Getting started with The Social Connection is simple. Our process is designed to ensure the right fit, clear goals, and a structured path forward.

Step 1: Schedule a Tour

We begin with a tour of one of our community hubs. This is an opportunity to meet our team, see programming in action, and ask questions about goals, interests, and next steps.

We want prospective members and families to feel informed, comfortable, and confident before moving forward.

Ongoing Support & Progress

We believe growth requires consistency.

Members engage in:
• Regular goal check-ins
• Skill reinforcement
• Feedback and accountability
• Community integration

Our team maintains communication with families and partners as needed to ensure alignment and forward movement.

Step 2: Intake & Goal Setting

Following the tour, we complete an intake process to better understand strengths, interests, and areas for growth.

This includes:
• Reviewing background information
• Identifying personal goals
• Discussing independence, employment, and community interests
• Determining the best program fit

Every member enters with a clear direction and individualized goals.

Who Is a Good Fit?

The Social Connection is designed for neurodivergent adults ages 18+ who are served by a local Regional Center and:

• Are ready to build independence
• Want to strengthen real-world skills
• Benefit from structured environments
• Value community and accountability

If that sounds like you or someone you support, we would love to connect.

Step 3: Begin Programming

Once enrolled, members begin structured programming aligned with their goals.

Programming includes:
• Skill-building workshops
• Real-world practice and community engagement
• Employment readiness development
• Peer collaboration and leadership opportunities

Growth is intentional. Expectations are clear. Progress is supported.
